The world has changed… effective team coaching provides you with flexible tools and techniques to unlock team performance. When expertly applied it has a track record of improving productivity, decision making, problem solving, engagement, morale, resilience and overall leadership and communication.
What is Team Coaching?
Team coaching is an evidence informed approach which enables whole team, authentic conversations leading to the team becoming more aware, collectively, of the changes they need to make, and how, in order to raise performance and productivity.
Team coaching helps teams to achieve their goals and targets, while encouraging the creation of a culture that supports whole team engagement. It helps teams come together around a common purpose, develop healthy team relationships, and become accountable collectively for behaviour as well as results.
Why Team Coaching?
Team coaching supports a team to improve productivity, decision making, problem solving, engagement, morale, resilience, communication and performance. It works simultaneously on real life team projects, activity and challenges whilst exploring and seeking to enhance the relationships and behaviours that lead to enhanced team performance.
Our Approach to Team Coaching

Discover
We explore the team’s current reality, hopes, and fears, clarifying what success looks like and how it will be measured through conversations, surveys, and observation.

Design
We create a tailored plan, outlining session structure, focus areas, tools (e.g., MBTI), and reporting, often including one-to-one coaching for the team leader. Where appropriate, we link to our leadership development framework, Purpose, People and Performance.

Deliver
We deliver the coaching in line with the design, flexing in the moment to live situations and encouraging actions between sessions to sustain momentum.

Sustain
We hold a follow-up session 6–8 weeks later and embed routines and processes that help the team maintain long-term progress

We advocate the use of two coaches where feasible and ensure our coaches undertake supervision /peer group review to review their methods regularly

Ensure coaches are experienced and take an ethical approach
Advocate that the team leader should benefit from one to one coaching alongside the team coaching process

Work with you at the start of the process to agree what success looks like and identify key measurements of success
Will use evaluation questionnaires to measure impact

Co-create a team centred, tailored approach recognising that every team and situation are unique
We contract with the team at the outset and agree principles for working together effectively
We check in and adapt in the moment, ensuring that our interventions support the team to work together effectively to get things done
