Leadership Development

For more than 35 years, Taylor Clarke has partnered with organisations across the public sector, oil and energy, financial services, drinks, technology, construction, power and utilities, and transport to develop leaders who create meaningful and lasting impact.

We design bespoke leadership development programmes that help organisations build leadership capability, navigate complexity and change, and improve individual, team and organisational performance.

Every programme draws on decades of practical experience and combines deep organisational insight with highly tailored learning experiences. Our approach supports both individual transformation and the wider conditions in which leaders, teams and organisations can thrive.

Our Approach to Leadership Development

Two core models shape the way we design and deliver leadership development programmes. Together, they help us connect individual leadership capability with organisational purpose, culture and performance.

The Turnaround Model

Our TurnAround Model informs how we analyse change, design learning interventions and support individual transformation. It considers four factors that influence the success of a learning or change intervention:

We Think — cognitions: how people understand and make sense of change.

We Feel — emotions: motivation, commitment and the impact of feelings on action.

We’re Allowed — environment: how organisational context, culture and systems enable or constrain people.

We Can — behaviours: the practical skills and actions people use every day.

This model enables a holistic view of leadership and organisational change, helping leaders understand not only what needs to change, but what enables change to succeed in practice.

The 3Ps Leadership Framework

We have worked with many organisations, hundreds of teams and thousands of people. Our 3Ps Leadership Framework distils that experience into a practical approach that aligns Purpose, People and Performance.

Purpose: Clarifying why your organisation exists and ensuring it is understood, lived and aligned across the business.

People: Developing the leadership, capability and culture needed for individuals and teams to perform at their best.

Performance: Establishing meaningful measures and accountability so progress is visible, sustainable and aligned with your goals.

Together, these elements create an integrated framework that helps leaders align strategy, culture and delivery.

What makes Taylor Clarke's Leadership Development different?

Team Coaching at Taylor Clarke

Working in the moment

One of our greatest strengths is our ability to work in the moment with clients. This requires skill and experience: entering complex organisational environments with openness, curiosity and sound judgement.

Rather than relying on rigid models or predetermined answers, we work alongside clients to respond to the realities they are facing and co-create solutions that are practical and meaningful. Clients consistently tell us how valuable it is to have partners who can navigate complexity with them in real time.

Breadth of capability

Our leadership development practice is built on breadth of capability and experience. Our consultants have worked across a wide range of sectors and organisational settings, bringing diverse perspectives and insight to every engagement.

This breadth enables us to adapt quickly, challenge constructively and bring fresh thinking grounded in real organisational experience.

Seniority of experience

We are highly experienced in working with senior leaders and executive teams across many industries and sectors. Many of our consultants have held senior in-house leadership roles themselves, giving them first-hand understanding of the pressures, responsibilities and realities of leadership.

This allows us to build strong, credible relationships and support leaders in a way that feels both practical and authentic.

Depth of knowledge

Over many years, we have developed and refined an integrative approach to leadership and organisational development. Our work draws on psychology, social psychology, organisational science, strategy, leadership theory and neuroscience.

We combine this depth of knowledge with practical application to create leadership development that is insightful, relevant and impactful.

You know your need

Who is better-placed than you to know what success looks like and what you want?  Our job is to listen and help you clarify what you need.   You know your business, your teams, your people – and you know the challenges you’re facing.  We’ll help you see them in a different way, but you’ll have an instinctive feel for what will work and what won’t – and we might just encourage you to try something new.
