About The Event
For a number of years now, we’ve been facilitating women leaders’ development and we’re keen to ensure it doesn’t get put on the back burner during the upheaval of Covid-19.
On the one hand, we’re reading positive headlines about the effective handling of the pandemic by female global leaders, including Angela Merkel, Jacinda Ardern. In a recent study, cited in a , found that ‘women were more risk averse when it came to human lives, and as such closed their country earlier than their male counterpart, when they were seeing fewer deaths but [contrary to popular opinion, women] were less risk averse when it came to the economy’ The researchers suggest that perhaps it’s time to abide by some of the female attributes of leadership including empathy and clearly communication.Forbes’ article
