We are entering into the winter months and paying attention to staff morale and motivation against the backdrop of COVID 19 is hugely important. The virtual workspace requires different conversations with staff, stakeholders, customers and business partners.

Whether face to face or online, communication using a coaching approach is engaging, empowering and fair.

Managers who have coaching conversations nurture the abilities and confidence of their teams to solve issues and think for themselves. It helps build effective relationships and promotes respect in the workplace.

This programme is facilitated by Mairi McLean:

Mairi is an experienced learning and development consultant and accredited coach.  Her specialist interest is helping individuals and teams to understand themselves and others with a view to building effective work based relationships where performance flourishes.  She believes that using the coaching approaches enable all staff to have great conversations at work and build collaborative working alliances.  This in turn can lead to positive work environments.
